History
Formed within 1872 a club are amongst the oldest inside Scotland. It were founder members of the Scottish Football Association in 1873 and were one of the large clubs in the united states as much as this period of time. It were joint winners (by owning Rangers) of the inaugural Scottish Football League in 1891. It were unlimited winners of a league the ensuing year.
